| Hello, A little Radio Controlled Car Club of Wenatchee (RCCCW) history. We started in the summer of 2000 as the Columbia River R\C Club. We are a new club and are working hard to build a solid foundation for our club to strive and grow into the future. Our past board members have laid a very solid foundation for us, both in property and core membership. They have established themselves in the community through their hard work (sweat) and dedication to making our facility and its sponsor’s top priority. Having FUN is the goal of our club. We are always looking for ways to improve and to help the new member. We hold meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month at Pizza hut on Grant Road, East Wenatchee, Wa.). All club members and new prospects are encouraged to attend. All club members have a chance to vote on important club policies at these meetings. If you have a compliment or complaint; we want to hear it!! Please bring your possible solutions to the meeting so we can GROW!! Be an active member!! A single yearly club membership is $40.00 when paid before March 31st. After March 31st it is $50.00. Family rates are available at $50.00 before March 31st and $75.00 after. After September 1st; single memberships are $25.00 and $30.00 for the family rate. We require all racers to hold a valid R.O.A.R license. This license is available through us, and can be purchased on race day. A single race day R.O.A.R. license is $10.00. Our Off-Road races are held at Eastmont RC Raceway, 3rd ST, East Wenatchee, Wa. Our Off-Road track is just off Grant Rd, on the north end of the Douglas County Park. Our races are laid back, and hopefully organized. We use an AMB lap counting system and have back-up procedures in place, just in case. We attempt to have classes for everyone, especially Novice, but it depends on the actual number of cars that enter that day. Entry fees are $5.00 per class for Club Members. Non-Members pay $10.00 each for their first two classes and $5.00 for the third class. We require that all racers help with track maintenance before heats and the mains; no exceptions.
